El Capitan Rhone blend is our signature wine. Containing both the La Presa and Paradise Road Syrahs, and Camp 4 Mourvedre in this years' vintage. This is a big wine that will age for years.

Characteristics The 2006 Jalama El Capitan is composed of 47% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre and 23% Cabernet. This wine starts with a nose of creamy blackberry and boysenberry aromas. Then chewy, fruity, grippy tannins balance and seamlessly integrate with oak. It is extremely well-rounded, full-bodied, with a hint of cassis on a long, elegant finish.
