Taking advantage of our close proximity to the ocean and the cool weather it provides, this Pinot is brimming with depth and complexity. Characteristics The 2007 Jalama Pinot Noir starts out smooth and spicy, with supple plum and black cherry fruit before picking up pleasant earthy cola flavors. Concentrated and complex, with great fruit definition, it gains great depth and dimension while maintaining a good balance across the palate. Decanting thirty to sixty minutes before drinking is recommended, particularly if consumed before 2011.
